Funding your NIE program at no cost to your newspaper!

NIE funds can be a new or expanded revenue source for your newspaper as well as a means to increase your circulation. At NIE Solutions, we have developed an innovative program to help newspapers achieve their NIE funding goals at no cost to them!

We do this by creating a corporate sponsorship program, where we contact every business in your market that is suitable for an NIE Sponosrhip, educate them on how NIE benefits the entire community, and then ask them to make a monetary donation to the NIE program. 

NIE Solutions then bills and collects the donation from the sponsors, and sends the newspaper a check for the pledge amount less our commission. The only obligation to your newspaper is to recognize all contributing sponsors in a monthly “Thank You” ad for twelve consecutive months. The timing and format of the ad is your choice. 

Each month, in addition to a check, you will receive a report of sponsors that have contributed from your program and that need to be listed in the “Thank You” ad.

Most newspapers do a good job soliciting donations from a few large sponsors, but simply don’t have the time, staff or specialized equipment needed to contact every business in their market that is appropriate for NIE.
